Ouch!!!!

Well my pretty's, I am still in FLA for another day, and I am sore. In fact, we are all sore! Diane, Dennis, and I are officially, in pain! Roofing stinks! I will never, ever, ever, ever, do it again, accept for on my own house. We have not finnished yet, but I am sure that we will.

This all started out with the central Florida region having no rain for over 6 weeks, and there were fire warnings all over the state. I came down last Wed and then got to the house in the eavening. The next day was rain coming down off and on so we waited until Friday to start. Tear off and repairs took a couple of days, then we started shingling Tuesday, and we got about 40% done, and then today we went out to start, and there were clouds all around so we checked the weather. Boy, oh boy, rain all day today, so no finishing today.

I feel bad because we didn't finnish in the week I am down here. However, Diane and Dennis will finnish next weekend, and then they will never have to replace the roof again, at least in there lifetime!

The good news is that I am having a good time, other then the pain involved with the roof. The boys are doing well and getting ready to get out of the school for the summer.

The chickens that the boys got for christmas have started laying eggs. Everyone is so excited. There will be fresh eggs for breakfast next time I come down.

Diane and Dennis are doing well. They are excited about the new house. There is a lot of work to do to finish the house and make it there home, but it is a really nice house. In a couple of years, they will be done, and then they will be the envy of all who visit them.

I come back to Rochester tommorow, at 3:15pm. I will spend a few days finnishing cleaning out the condo, then I will return to Home. I look forward to finding a job at home so I don't have to work so much.
