Tick-Tock

What time is it? How about now?? When is the call going to come???? Damnit, I hate this wait.

You see, last week, I had a great interview with a certin car dealership in a nearby city to become their service manager, and they told me they would call me this comming week. I feel really good about my chances. It is a job that I am perfect for, and I really hope and pray that I get it.

A funny thing happened the day before they called me to come in for the interview. I got a call from my sister Diane in Florida. It seems that her house needs a new roof, and since I haven't been working, she wondered if I could come down and help them replace it. No problem! I agreed to fly down, and she got me a ticket for wensday, and I will stay for a week. You know what, I have traveled more in the past couple months then any time before in my life! It is pretty odd.

Mom and Dad got back from the Jazz Festival in New Orleans saturday night. They had a great time, and have lots of great stories. They saw all types of acts, including the Boss, Bruce Springstien. I am so jealous. I guess I am not the only child that has seen Bruce less often then his parents, but I am probably the only 38 year old who can say that.

Dad came up today. It is good to see him. He came up to get some paper work for the Business and the Condo. I get the added bonus that he will take me down to Rochester, and then later to Metro Airport without having to try to drive the Tracker that far (thank god!). When I get back, I am going to finish cleaning out the basement in the condo.
