another day in Farwell

This is a way for my freinds and family to try to keep in touch with me and my family in our new homes in Mid Michigan.

38 and Still Breathing

Well Gosh! I lived to see 38! I never thought that would happen, but here I am. Officially 9 1/2 Birthdays old, and still kicking! Take that living right activists!!!

Truth be known, it feels pretty good to have things going on. I haven't found work yet, but I am trying. Tommorow I am hoping to interview for a job as a new car salesman (would you quit laughing at that!). I have filled out more aplications, made more phone calls, and sent out more resume's and cover letters then I can imagine over the past couple of weeks. My dad thinks I am slipping into a depression because I have spent so much time in my room on line trying to get work. No worries dad, except for the bank account which is getting low.

We got a suprise this morning. 14 inches of snow fell on us over night and into the early afternoon. Everything I saw said maybe an inch, and then I looked out this morning and say about 8". It wasn't until 2 pm that it finally stoped. Then I had to start the snow blower (GGGRRRRRRR!!!!??!?!?!!). I hate that thing. The drive is big and curved, plus there was 3 inches of ice below the snow that I had been salting for a week trying to get rid of it. Lets just say I don't have to go to the gym for a couple days, not that I could now. I am really sore.

We are getting ready for the weekend. Terry is supposed to come up and do a little ice fishing. Dad will be here tommorow, and I will hopefully be working somewhere.

Thats all for now!

Later.
